Concrete Bike Track construction process and standard materials

• Concrete bike tracks are typically a broom finish track.
• 100mm thick 25MPA concrete which is stronger than the normal 20 MPA concrete.
• Stressed joints cut at every 4m.
• The bike track example below was 245m long by 2m wide.
• The track took 1.5 weeks to construct from start to finish.
• This track was the first Concrete track rolled out in NZ.
